Welcome to the Department of Energy’s (DOE) 2024 Cybersecurity and Technology Innovation Conference blog, where you will find comprehensive coverage of this year’s event. Over the upcoming weeks, this blog will be home to key updates for the conference, including information on registration, keynote speakers, panel discussions, travel tips, networking opportunities and more. We are eagerly anticipating your attendance this year!  

The conference is hosted by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and co-hosted with the Office of Environmental Management (EM), Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and the Southwest Power Administration. Our theme this year is Accelerating and Securing the Mission through Technology.  The upcoming conference will include more than 20 break-out sessions covering a diverse range of topics. To help you plan your attendance, we have grouped these sessions into 4 distinct tracks to make it easier for you to navigate and choose the ones that align with your interests and focus areas:   

TRACK 1: Securing the Digital Frontier in an Insecure World  

TRACK 2: Innovation Serving the Nation 

TRACK 3: Transformative R&D  

TRACK 4: Orchestrating a Modern Energy Sector
